Each year Amazin' Acres adds something new so if it has been a while, come see what we've added. Their activities are sure to be educational, team building and loads of fun. So drop the hustle and bustle of everyday life and engage in some simple country fun. Make conquering the new maze a yearly tradition! Spring or fall there is something for all!

Spring Fun: At Amazin' Acres of Fun they have the tastiest homegrown, sun ripened, nutritious strawberries around. You can pick-your-own or buy them pre-picked. Either way you'll be glad you came to Amazin' Acres for your strawberry needs. Their season usually begins in late April till the first of June.

Galaxy Maze
8 acre maze is adventurous and will take you on a journey through outer space. Are you brave enough to go where no one has gone before? Can you maneuver through stars, dead ends, and even black holes? Your allies this year are: Space, Nature, Bible, Sports & Games and Cinema Trivia. This year we have 4 levels of galaxy exploration.

World's Longest Yard Sale

The Sale is headquartered in Jamestown, Tennessee at the Fentress County Chamber of Commerce. Nestled in the beautiful Upper Cumberland Region of Tennessee. Hundreds of thousands of folks join us each year for this fun filled event, spanning 450 miles and four states. It's impossible to keep track of how many shoppers and vendors we have, but its grown to be the biggest and best event of its kind in the world.

Scenic Drives

Hwy 56 North to Hwy 151 takes us on a quiet adventure from Historic Gainesboro to Historic Red Boiling Springs. This drive follows the Cumberland River as it winds through the valley before the climb to Red Boiling Springs. Lush color and historic homes decorate the landscape. Gainesboro offers unique shopping and dining experiences on the square. Red Boiling Springs was once a busy vacation spot for those families wealthy enough to escape the heat of the city for the summer. Of the 15 original hotels, 3 are open to visitors. Red Boiling Springs still offers mineral baths to soothe and relax.

Explore Hwy 127 beginning at the Tennessee - Kentucky State Lines. This rural highway passes through the Alvin C. York Historic Site where the Grist Mill provides the perfect place for a picnic by the falls. Highway 127 winds around abrupt hills and through valley farmland. Breathtaking views abound. See historic Jamestown; experience Highland Manor Winery, Tennessee's Oldest Winery; explore East Fork Stables 1200 acres of horseback riding trails; and visit Crossville, TN's Stonehaus Winery and antique shopping. Exit 127 at Highway 154 to hike, bike, ride, or simply explore Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area or Pickett State Park.

Highway 70N from Cookeville guides drivers atop the Cumberland Plateau in Monterey and then into Crossville where it passes beautiful Ozone falls. Fro those out for the day, return to Sparta via the somewhat parallel Highway 70, also know as the Historic Broadway of America. Watch for gorgeous vistas and take advantage of the unique shopping and quaint dining opportunities on the square in Sparta.

Hwy 56 from Silver Point to Smithville, TN. Exit I-40 at the Highway 56 exit and go south, This drive circles Center Hill Lake and provides breathtaking vistas from several vantages. Drivers can linger at the Silver Point Gallery, the Appalachian Center for Crafts, Lakeside Resort or several parks, boat docks, and overlooks along the way. Hurricane Bridge takes drivers high over the lake.

Cumberland Caverns

If you visit one show cave in Tennessee, Cumberland Caverns should be the one! Cumberland Caverns is Tennessee’s largest show cave. Cumberland Caverns displays some of the largest underground rooms in eastern America. It also features waterfalls, gleaming pools, spectacular formations, and even a ¾ ton chandelier. The historic 1812 saltpeter mine and “God of the Mountain”, an original underground pageant of light and sound, are shown on every tour. Cumberland Caverns offers daily tours from May 1 to October 31.

Not far from the Cumberland Plateau is Chattanooga, home of the largest mall in Tennessee, Hamilton Place. Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park

Warner Park Zoo - Chattanooga, TN

Completed in early 2003, this new 6.5 acre master plan provides a zoo geographic and bioclimatic setting for an extensive animal collection. This intimate urban park location is designed to maintain existing mature hardwood trees and is intended to provide a passive environment for education. The master plan is comprised of six phases including new primary and secondary circulation systems, front gate area, children’s plaza and naturalistic exhibit areas.

Falls Creek Falls State Park

Fall Creek Falls State Resort Park is one of the most scenic and spectacular recreation areas in America. Its waterfalls, cascades, sparkling streams, gorges, timberland and an unmatched variety of recreation facilities and activities have made it one of the most popular parks in the Southeast. Fall Creek Falls is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Rocky Mountains, plunging 256 feet into a shaded pool at the base of its gorge. The park's other falls, (Piney, Cane Creek and Cane Creek Cascades), though smaller, are just as impressive.
The oak and hickory forest that covers most of the park gives way to tulip poplar and hemlock forest in the gorges. The plants and animals of the moist, protected gorges are not unlike the species found in southern Canada. Mountain laurel and rhododendron are abundant throughout the park, as are other plants and animals.
The park is located in Bledsoe and Van Buren counties, 11 miles east of Spencer and 18 miles west of Pikeville. It may be entered from Highway 111 or Highway 30.
